Weekend Trip

We leave bright and early for a four day trip to northern Ireland. I'm not sure if I will have internet access, so I thought I would at least post our itinerary. Here it is:

Wed. 4 November 2009
North West Tour – Omagh
07.00 - Depart Delaney’s Pub for Omagh
09.30 - Breakfast stop at Monaghan - Sam’s Diner
11.00 - Arrive at Ulster American Folk Park, Omagh
11.30 - Guided tour of Folk Park
13.30 - Lunch and check in at Residential Centre
14.30 - Lecture on Emigration by Dr Paddy Fitzgerald at Migration Study Centre.
18.00 - Dinner
19.00 - History discussion group

10.00 - City Tour of Derry

09.30 - Depart Bunbeg – Scenic drive to Donegal
11.30 - Visit Donegal Castle and lunch break
14.00 - Visit Drumcliffe Graveyard – Burial place of W.B. Yeats, Poet and Statesman
Scenic drive – Lough Gill and Lake Isle of Innisfree
16.00 - Sligo Town
17.00 - Check in at Park House Bed and Breakfast
            Pearse Road, Sligo
18.30 - Dinner at Molly Fulton’s, Sligo

Return to Dublin
09.00 - Depart Sligo
10.00 - Visit Boyle Abbey
11.00 - Visit Lough Key Forest Park.
            Tour Boda Borg and Lunch
17.00 - Arrive back at Delaney’s Pub
Should be home in time for dinner with host family
